The cottage‑style accommodation had a tiny, spotless room overlooking a quiet street in a charming village; the breakfast was shared with other guests in a cozy meeting, sparking enjoyable conversations. Being at the heart of a vineyard, you could taste wines if you wanted—no pressure at all. One night was flawless, with nothing off-putting.

The garden and outdoor terrace were great for meals, and the breakfast was hearty and varied. A €10 dog surcharge applied for a single night; the TV was too small and too low to see from the bed, and there was no fridge or freezer in the room, so food had to stay cold. The narrow, steep stairwell was dim and cramped, and the room couldn’t be locked. The shared fridge on the ground floor was already full. Information at check‑in from the host was lacking, there was no air conditioning, and the vertical fan was very noisy.

Very quiet, hosted by a friendly winemaker, with a generous breakfast. The cellar tour was a bonus; I recommend it.
