Stephanie shifted our reservation to her other guest house in Flateyri instead of Sudavik, and that turned out to be perfect for us; she was a wonderful, well‑informed host, the house was super comfy, and Flateyri itself was a fantastic spot.

The Sudavik guesthouse sits in an old post office, with two beds in a tidy little room and a view of a tall mountain behind. The cozy, warm living room has a kitchen, a coffee maker, a kettle, and a big dining table. Wi‑Fi is fast, and you can slip on knitted slippers at the front door. Parking is free and private. Stéphanie thanks you for your hospitality. Highly recommended for us. The only downside is there’s no private shower or toilet.

The place is well set up with a large common lounge and a spacious kitchen. It’s clean, and the triple room is big. We met the host, Stéphanie, who was very friendly.

The accessibility is good. The reception felt very much like an Airbnb experience with key‑box arrangements.

The location was ideal for our trip to the western fjords, and everything was fully equipped. The staff were welcoming and extremely helpful, and the value for money was excellent.
