The fans in the room were very good and there were mosquito nets. There was a clothes rack. The location was great, close to the centre without the noise. A supermarket was nearby. Ranjit was very kind, always helping and fixing any inconvenience. The service was a bit dirty, and the lockers were so close to the bathroom door that they blocked access.

I was thrilled to find that everything was just a short walk away; a side street off the main road leads straight to Food City supermarket and KFC, making shopping a breeze. The host family was incredibly friendly and helpful, speaking excellent English and taking great care of me—truly grateful for their hospitality!

The price and location are spot on, and this family‑run hostel feels like a simple villa at first glance, but the quietness and peacefulness become apparent after a while. I enjoyed a tasty String Hoppers with coconut veg curry breakfast. I also tried arranging a safari tour to see elephants; the owner helped me contact drivers and honestly explained that the morning’s safari only spotted two leopards and no elephants. I appreciated his honesty, even though I wasn’t charged for a jeep that led to nothing. The road to the property can feel a bit dark at night, which might be scary on foot, but biking or taking a tuk‑tuk to the city centre is easy, so it isn’t a major issue.
