Location was good.
“Buenas instalaciones falta empoderar al personal, no basta ser suaves si no generan servicio”
The location and room comfort were good, but the staff, while polite, seemed unprepared to handle simple requests. They didn’t know where the currency exchange or phone shop was, so I had to provide that information myself, which seemed to bother them. I’m also worried about their social responsibility; I saw children around 8–14 years old drinking orange juice with champagne, and no one monitored that minors weren’t consuming alcohol.
“Ótima experiência”
The overall experience at Casa Grande Hotel in La Paz was excellent; the rooms were very comfortable and well equipped. The hotel’s facilities were impressive, with a full gym, pool, sauna, and a truly great playground that made a big difference for our family. The restaurant deserves praise for its well-executed dishes and a breakfast that lived up to the standard. Overall, it’s a high‑standard hotel that offers a very pleasant experience. The only point of concern was a lack of flexibility and friendliness from the staff. I had an unexpected reservation issue and lost a fully paid, unused night. When I asked for a late check‑out until 14:40, the request was denied very rigidly, with no attempt to accommodate me. Given the hotel’s level, I expected a more attentive and empathetic approach in such situations, but the overall experience remained very positive.
The staff at the front desk were rude and the place isn’t worth booking; we arrived early and asked if we could check‑in, they said yes but demanded an extra $40. After we left our luggage and went to eat, we returned at 3 pm and nobody responded; they blamed a system issue even though we had completed the paperwork that morning, and only then gave us the key card. Once inside, we were exhausted from a flight, fell asleep, and woke up cold because the air‑conditioner was off. This was our second stay in a few days; the first visit had no such problems. The hotel is far from the airport and the front desk staff lack the professionalism of a star‑rated property.
“agradable”
The dining service was excellent, and the room was very spacious and clean. However, the front desk staff seemed to lack decision‑making authority.
