“Good value for money”
The staff and the manager of the hostel were very helpful and decent and made sure everything went smoothly. The place wasn’t ready when I arrived, but they handled that ASAP.

Good water pressure and hot water. Lots of street noise

The host, Adham, is courteous, educated, friendly, and helpful in every way. The place is clean and quiet. However, the two nights I stayed at were not at the location advertised. The advertised name was Hostel Alexandria, but I ended up in a different place called Hostel Qasr Al-Shabab near the Siwa tram station. Before arrival, I was surprised when the host told me to go to a different site than the one described in the ad. Additionally, he sometimes leaves the guest handling to kids as young as seven or eight, which is uncomfortable. When I asked for a towel to use during the day, the host charged me 50 EGP, which I considered a relatively high price, roughly half the cost if I bought it at the market.

The people were genuinely kind by nature. I stayed with them, and it felt like living with family.

The cleaning was good, the host was cooperative, and there were restaurants available. The kitchen equipment could use improvement and renewal.
