The room was modest but came with a small terrace and a stunning view. The bathroom and toilet were reachable through the hallway, which didn’t bother us. The host was a very friendly older gentleman who seemed to have seen a lot of places. Breakfast on the main terrace was lovely, and we could enjoy a wonderful view of Lake Brienz in the morning. There was a parking spot right by the building, and bikes could be stored in the garage.

The views were stunning and the host was very helpful. The location is easy to reach from the train station, grocery stores, Rothorn Bahn, and a fantastic pizza joint. The walk up from the train station to the property is steep, and there were a few bugs in the bathroom late in the summer.

The host was extremely courteous and helpful. The room was clean and fine for a few days. The breakfast was unbeatable and extraordinary. We were lucky that someone cancelled.

Mr Jobin was really friendly and respectful, and the room was spotless. The location couldn’t have been better and the terrace view was simply breathtaking. All in all, it was a fantastic stay with nothing to complain about.

From the moment I arrived the hosts made me feel welcome, even handing me sunscreen when I realized I’d forgotten it on that scorching day. The lake‑front view is stunning, the house is immaculate and the breakfast felt like a proper homemade spread. They even let me store my luggage for a few hours after checkout, which saved me a lot of hassle.
