The room was very hot. I had to use a portable air‑conditioner with a vent that had to stay open, and it made a loud noise. I told the owner right away, and he promised it would stop once the temperature dropped, but after dinner a few hours later the noise was still the same. I tried swapping the AC for the room fan, which made just as much noise. I turned everything off and slept with the windows open, but after an hour the mosquitoes woke us up. The balcony view is limited to no more than two people. Breakfast was excellent, with coffee, packaged brioche, and blister packs of Nutella and jam. Unfortunately, when I removed the blanket from the bed I found a bitten piece of plastic and a small black comma‑shaped mark that I didn’t notice at first. In the morning I saw two more black commas in the bathroom between the grout lines of two tiles, probably from some animal I can’t identify, which I hope isn’t what I think it is. At breakfast I told the owner’s wife that the night had been difficult because of the heat, the AC noise, and the mosquitoes (I hadn’t seen the black commas in the bathroom yet). She said we were the first to complain, and when I mentioned the AC noise she blamed a previous guest who had damaged the unit. The owner then appeared, and after his wife told him about the problem and the need to call a technician, he replied “Aha” and left without saying goodbye.

The location is great because it’s near the highway, giving a stay among trees and greenery. The room and services are flawless, the cleaning is perfect, and the welcome feels affectionate. It’s useful not only for a quick break on a long trip but also for a few days of visiting local natural sights, relaxing, and feeling at home. Plus you can visit the farm and see the real‑milk cheese production from cows that live in the nearby dairy, without disturbing guests. I’ll come back and hope for many more days. Everything was perfect.
