Lili and Simon took amazing care of us, even helping with our onward travel arrangements.
The breakfast here was amazing - those pancakes with coconut cream were honestly the best I've ever had.
The free kayaks were a great perk - the Salt Lake is breathtaking.

A water‑front setting offers direct views of the water from the Bungalow. The room accommodates up to three guests and includes quality linen and towels. An en‑suite bathroom provides hot water and organic coconut soaps.
“Excellent location for exploring the island and Savusavu, with lovely staff and great food.”
Simon and Lilly were wonderful hosts; Lilly cooked for us on several occasions and the meals were excellent. The location was beautiful and the Wi‑Fi worked well. The only downside was the absence of a TV.
“Beautiful location, lovely staff, delicious cooking. Loved our stay!”

“If the resorts don't do it for you”
The place is super chill, the tide shapes your day, clean water teems with life, kayaking into the salt lake is best at high tide but the current is strong, mangroves and roosters dominate, there’s a watertight cubby in the kayak for your phone or cigarettes, it’s very photogenic, a full loop around the lake at high tide takes 2‑3 hours, wind can make it choppy, if you’re not up for it you can tie the kayak to a pontoon and swim, beers are available, bring your trash, the outgoing tide brings you back, early high tide lets you kayak, swim, and return for breakfast, the room was great, cooking was next level, shop for snacks at local supermarkets, Lilly & Simon were the best hosts, they embody Fijian vibes, drinking kava was wonderful for winding down and chatting, the riverside beach is full of creatures, 10/10.
“Beautiful spot with abundant nature and the best hospitality on the island”
Staying here was a highlight of our trip. The setting is stunning, with plenty to do and also plenty of chances to relax in paradise. A trip down the river to the salt lake was a particular highlight. What truly makes it special are the hosts, Lily and Simon. They took care of us so well—from the generous breakfasts to the late‑night kava and chats. They even rose at dawn to help us carry our luggage down the road and ensure we caught the right bus. We’ll definitely come back, and next time we’re booking the Lovo because we’ve heard how amazing it is from other guests. Vinaka vaka levu Lily and Simon!
“Incredible breakfast, staff and location. Definitely would recommend”
Breakfast was incredible, the river location with free kayaking was peaceful, staff were helpful and caring, and the scenery from the window and porch was beautiful, yet the accommodation feels like a basic porta‑cabin, insects were noisy at night, and the shower temperature was inconsistent.
