The hotel is a bit out of town, yet the room’s equipment and comfort were very good. The bathroom felt a bit dated and the curtains in the room were somewhat “torn” and holey. The overall hotel décor was lovely, with an elegant touch that I don’t mean to criticize. Breakfast was perfect, and the owner was very, very friendly and attentive to our needs. Unfortunately, the restaurant was closed due to illness, but the owner kindly booked us a table at a local, respectable restaurant. Thanks for that! We were traveling with a large dog, and that didn’t pose any problem for our stay. The only downside is that the hotel can’t control the limited walking options for dogs, as the adjacent forest has no paths and the surrounding meadows are fenced with electric fences… I’m venting at a high level, but it might interest other dog owners.

The accommodation was perfect for an overnight stay. It’s right on the road to Kamenz and ideal for a concert at the Bergbühne in Kamenz. The breakfast was very varied and left no wishes unfulfilled.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Our room was more than enough for us. Breakfast was wonderful and tasty. We can only recommend this hotel. We have nothing negative to add.
