Motel St-Thomas, located midway between Montréal and Trois-Rivières, offers 24-hour front desk and free in-room Wi-Fi. All rooms feature air conditioning, TV, microwave, fridge, and coffee machine. The motel provides free on-site parking, and is 10 minutes' drive from Joliette city centre and 12 minutes' drive from Joliette Golf Course.

No one was at the front desk when we checked in, and the manager couldn’t be reached by phone; another resident apparently had a working number. When the manager finally arrived at 10 pm, he knocked on our door, woke the kids, and I had to leave the bathroom to pay a $100 deposit plus a $15 tax that the manager had miscalculated. The motel looks as old as its pictures and is poorly cleaned, with several dead bugs in the bedroom and bathroom.

Nothing positive, and the host and the accommodation were completely abandoned.

The room was spacious, clean, and close to all my attractions like the golf course and bars/restaurants; the instructions on facilities were clear. However, the room faced the road with constant heavy traffic, required a call for service even though it was only 4 pm, and there was no security for returning the room key (the mail slot was clearly marked).

Nothing good; the bed sheets never change, the stained pillows are never replaced or washed, and the glasses are cleaned with a dirty rag.
