“Un séjour de 9 jours”
The Paradise hotel in Lisbon sits right in Baixa-Chiado, so everything from restaurants to nightlife is within arm's reach; the staff are friendly and the lift is quirky but functional. I stayed there for 9 nights. The only major drawback was the shower: the one in my private room had dirty particles and clogged quickly. I only realized this later, but their policy means rooms aren't cleaned daily, unlike what I was used to. It's not a huge issue, but if a brochure had warned me, I wouldn't have requested a clean. It caused an awkward moment that could have been avoided with upfront info. I say it's not a big deal because in another Portuguese hotel I stayed at, they explained that for environmental reasons they didn't change towels daily unless requested. Having that info at reception or in the room lets you know what to expect and avoids tension.
