“Very peaceful - pleased I stayed!”
The view was lovely and the bed was comfy all around, a great spot overall. The shower room was a bit cramped for changing, but aside from that everything was fine.

The Shepherds Hut sits in a breathtaking spot with an outstanding view. Beth, the host, is thoughtful and supplies everything needed for a getaway, even fresh eggs from her chickens. She suggested places to visit and eat. Relaxing in the hot tub overlooking the hills felt peaceful, and the starry sky was unforgettable—perfect for stargazing. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking, the shower is hot, toiletries and a hairdryer are provided. We celebrated our anniversary there and had a fantastic time.

The location was great. I couldn’t find anything I didn’t like.

Staying alone here was wonderful. I felt safe and well cared for by Beth. The grounds and views—rolling green hills, cute farm animals, and night skies that blow your socks off—were magical. The hot tub was easy to use with Beth’s help, and stargazing in hot water with a glass of wine was pure bliss. The kitchen and bathroom are a 10‑second walk from the hut, which was fine for me; the fairy‑light fencing was charming to stroll along at night. Beth supplies all cutlery and crockery, even a ninja cooker. There’s a mini BBQ and fire pit that I used for snacks and romance. The hut itself is cute, and the bedding kept me warm on a cool April night, like an Antarctic igloo—soft and comfy. I liked being able to turn on the radio on the TV. The location is fantastic, close to waterfalls and lakes just a short drive away; Beth offers great local advice and answers questions gladly. If you’re a boujee camper or prefer rustic simplicity yet want safety with sheep and birds nearby, this is the place. You won’t regret booking. Amazing place! I’ll definitely return. The only downside is having to leave.
