Nothing much to say. We were very disappointed: a shower that barely worked, a murky pool with flies and trash plus dog food, no tennis court, outdoor elements in poor condition, a questionable adult item outside, a sauna full of junk, sports equipment in bad shape, breakfast with expired items, a fly in the orange juice, an owner who vanished regularly—overall, do not stay.

The castle is poorly maintained, lots of dust. Breakfast was very disappointing; according to the owner, the local bakeries were closed, so we didn't get any bread.

I liked nothing; when I arrived I was left in a dead end with no backup lodging, and the small breakfast was only passable. Zero hygiene, the pool was murky, the toilet was dirty, a spiderweb in the room, dust on every dresser and headboard.

The park was very quiet and soothing, and the “authentic” feel of the manor house was a big hit with the kids. The family room we stayed in was super comfy, with excellent bedding and gorgeous sheets! Hygiene really needs work: there were smudges on the bathroom mirror, the sink edges weren’t clean, the toilet seat was stained with previous guests’ residue… The breakfast dishes were questionable, the orange juice cap was moldy… Also the pool water quality was suspect (though it’s hard with the heat).
