The view from the window was very good. The only downside was that there were no places nearby to eat.

The host was very friendly. It’s a lovely escape from the bustle; best to arrange pick‑up and drop‑off with the host beforehand because the bus stop is quite a distance, though the town is beautiful to walk around if you don’t mind. Plan to bring some noodles or easy food to prepare yourself, as there’s no restaurant nearby and the accommodation doesn’t really have a kitchen.

Even though meals aren’t included, the room comes with a microwave, fridge, a kettle that always has fresh hot water for green tea or coffee, and even a yukata; the view of Mt Fuji from the window is simply unbeatable, and I have no complaints at all.
