The pool with the lounge chairs was great, the little bar by the pool and the view were all actually nice. Nothing else. Only a Nespresso machine would have been awesome, but I don’t see that often in Italy 😌

The pool area was dreamlike, breakfast right by the lake. The room and balcony were a bit too small.

A charming spot, a fairy tale. The staff were qualified, friendly and quick, attentive to every detail and guest need; breakfast was wonderful, rooms beautiful and equipped with a fridge and a tea area. Clean and my room had a balcony with lake view. The bathroom was perfect, the pool area fantastic with a bar and sunbeds on the lawn in the English style. The terrace restaurant had a spectacular lake view and high‑quality food and wine. The bar was well stocked and cocktails were crafted with skill. Many lounges offered lake view and courtyard view for complete silence. The port was 100 m away with ferry departures.

The standard room was very nice and spacious. The location is fantastic with a lake view. The staff were friendly and attentive, especially at the reception, the manager and especially the housekeeping staff and room attendants. Breakfast was okay. In the area there are several good restaurants within walking distance, also with upscale cuisine or local specialties. The city of Salo is not far. You can get there in a few minutes by car, by e‑bike or by boat. It’s great that the hotel has its own pier and mooring spots for boats. Pets are welcome at the hotel, that’s great! Breakfast could be improved. The rolls were not great, the selection was small and some salads or spreads were missing. My French toast was unfortunately black on the bottom and the fried eggs were sometimes cold. The coffee tasted like instant coffee. The dinner in the restaurant was unfortunately not very good. The pasta was too hard (we know what al dente is), the side dish was very simple (spinach leaves almost raw without flavor), the shrimp were overcooked, starchy and tasteless. The fish smelled very fishy (that’s a sign it’s not entirely fresh). The dishes sounded good, but the execution was poor (our travel group comes from the culinary world and we are professionals).
