“Disappointed With My Experience”
The location was convenient and the shops and restaurants were close by, but the house was so uncomfortable that it felt like two ladies and a male owner were sharing the same house. The bathroom and toilet were not in the bedroom, and the bathroom door didn’t have a key 😭, so it was uncomfortable to shower 🚿 in an unlocked bathroom while the man was walking around in the house.
“Unpleasant.”
I was impressed that the garage was closed and my car felt very secure, and the host, a student, was extremely friendly. However, the room lacked a shower, which was useless for me as a disabled guest, so I had to go to bed without washing. The heater didn’t work in winter and there was no hot water at first; I had to call the landlord, who apologized for not turning the geyser on, and then wait for water. The kitchen was communal, and the cooking smells from other guests were strong enough to make me vomit. The location was completely off; the place was in Faerie Glen, while we needed to be at The Wilgers hospital, 15‑20 minutes away, even though the listing claimed it was only 0.9 km from the hospital.
“A Cozy, Spotless Stay with a Thoughtful Host and Great Privacy!”
The bedroom was incredibly comfortable, with a cozy bed and excellent linen, and the host was thoughtful, offering extra blankets that made the stay even cozier. The same positive points were repeated twice in the original.
The place is located well, but it feels more like a house where people stay and you’re just visiting them.
The entrance had too many steps and no grab rail, which was inconvenient.
