“Lovely stay in a perfect place to experience Brasov”

It was perfect—staying at Pensiunea Kronstadt was one of the highlights of my Brasov visit. From the moment we arrived, caring Gigi, the owner, made our stay memorable. He accommodated the large van I was traveling in and arranged an early check‑in, even giving us a more spacious room. The place is cozy, clean, and warm, with a lovely garden that feels serene. The location is ideal, just a few minutes’ walk from Brasov’s old town. Pensiunea Kronstadt has everything you need for a beautiful stay; the rooms are very clean and comfortable. I can’t wait to return! What I miss most is the morning coffee Gigi makes and the amazing stories he shares about Brasov and Romania. Staying here was more than just a place to sleep—it was a key part of experiencing the country’s beauty.

I especially appreciated the owner’s attitude, who agreed to reschedule my booking after the original date was changed by the medical clinic where I had to go, even after I had paid for the stay. Respect! On the second night, the guest staying above room 104 made a total of disturbing noise around 1–2 am, about an hour or more, waking us up—especially since we had just had a cardiovascular procedure at a nearby clinic. That’s why I chose this guesthouse, being close to the clinic.

I had to book at the last minute, around midnight, and the owner welcomed me and arranged everything quickly. The place was clean, quiet, and comfortable, letting me get a good rest. The room was a bit chilly, so I’d have liked heating or an extra blanket.

It was one of the most comfortable places we’ve stayed at! The recent renovation in 2026 gives it a fresh feel. The only issue, already mentioned elsewhere, is the bed on the second floor, but that’s fine if you’re warned. Everything else was perfect: a comfy bed, spotless rooms, and all the necessary toiletries in the bathroom. The kitchen is available if you want to cook. The accommodation is close enough to the city center, and if you drive, there’s free parking in the courtyard. The staff were very welcoming and explained everything. I highly recommend it for a relaxed and pleasant stay.
