The quiet, the large room, and the village‑house feel were positives. The downside was that the bathrooms were only accessible from the outside.

The entrance is independent; you step into the property through a massive old wooden barn door and access the room from the garden. The room is large, beautiful, tastefully decorated, and opens onto the garden. The bathroom is 5 meters away, also opening onto the garden, nice and warm, with plenty of hot water (we were there in winter!). You’re in a typical French village, surrounded by trees and countryside, yet still very close to Lyon. A perfect spot to leave the car, hop on public transport, and visit Lyon without the hassle of parking!

I had an excellent stay; everything was perfect.

The rooms were very beautiful with a lovely view of the garden, but the showers and toilets were outside the room, which was a real disappointment given how large the rooms were.
