Absolutely amazing, the room was spacious, the bathroom clean and large, the kitchen big and well equipped, and the outdoor area had a table. Mr. Antônio was very kind and attentive. I have no complaints.

The location is excellent, very close to the bus terminal, and for those who have the energy to walk, it’s relatively near the main tourist attractions. The kitchen is very well equipped, there’s a smoking area, and the bathroom is spacious and very clean. The place is old but feels modern and well cared for. Sintra itself is already very pleasant, but the hostel is a 1000‑point place. It’s clear the owner works with passion. Antônio, the host, was wonderful in every detail from my arrival to my departure. I also want to mention the brief encounter with Maria, who was super great and helpful. That’s why I not only recommend Casa Azul but also hope to return soon.

On the day I arrived, I just dropped my luggage and headed straight to Nájera for sightseeing; the host gave me an amazing route, and I was in awe the whole way, stopping to look around. The next morning I ordered the paid breakfast, which was truly luxurious, with various breads, fruit, homemade jam, fruit juice, coffee, and more—so much that I almost had to leave some behind. The host also gave me detailed directions back to the accommodation, so I didn’t get lost. The neighborhood is quiet, spacious, and especially beautiful at night. I wish I could stay longer! The schedule was only one day, but it was so pretty, quiet, and great—nothing to regret.

The staff members were incredibly hospitable and welcoming throughout our entire visit. They were kind enough to let us store our luggage before our official check-in time and after we checked out. The shared area I love it
