There is no breakfast, the hotel is just a bed depot. The room was dirty, the shower drain was clogged, the tap was loose, and to get into the room you have to keep entering a code; if the kids mess it up you must wait and reset the lock. In the back courtyard there is a playroom with loud activity that goes on well into the night.

Location and cleanliness are top; I can’t say it better! The staff are always friendly and reachable at any time, which made many things easier for me. I always come back to the Mecklenheide Hotel simply because it’s uncomplicated and flexible (check‑in, for example).
