Quiet, calm spot with a friendly beach; the owners are polite and helpful. I recommend the quality for the price. Occasionally, there’s no hot water at night.

August 2026 • Visitor from Italy • Simpler than the photos suggest. In our view, Nhat Lan Resort falls far short of what a real resort should be. We stayed in the room above the entrance, spacious but only reachable by stairs since there’s no elevator. To get to the beach you have to walk past the bungalows, so privacy is low; you can see inside the rooms from outside if the curtains are open. The pool is much smaller than the pictures imply, probably because of the wide‑angle shots. The beach loungers are shabby and need replacement. Breakfast is buffet‑style. Overall, the property didn’t blow us away, and we expected more based on the photos.

The location was convenient, putting us close to a central area with restaurants and shops while staying away from the loudest parts of town. We endured a full day without electricity and were told generators existed but never saw them plugged in. The cook disappeared during breakfast service, and the waitstaff were not very helpful—when we asked for pancakes they said they couldn’t make them because the cook was out buying groceries, which seemed odd to do during breakfast hours. All of the lounge chairs were broken, the pool was small, dated and didn’t match the pictures, and although there is a private beach it was impossible to swim in and looked a bit dirty.
