“Don’t bother staying, for the price you might as well stay in a five star hotel in Jeju”
The only bright spot was the building’s exterior; everything else fell apart. We never received an access password beforehand, and the chat link led to an agent who told us to look for on‑site staff. No one answered the provided mobile number, and there was nobody at the front to greet us. In the end we tried opening the doors to various buildings, found one open that led to the on‑site staff’s house where his family was sitting in the dining area. The staff took a long time to step out and give us access to our room, acting as if we were a nuisance. After he keyed in the room password for us, he left immediately, leaving us to search for the air‑con remote (hidden in the bathroom drawer). The bedroom had no door, and the bathroom door was see‑through. The toilet was stained and looked uncleaned. The online photos looked great, but the tiled floors were stained and moldy, and the white walls had multiple stains. The floors were cold, no slippers were provided—or maybe we had to hunt for them somewhere obscure. The worst part was the lack of Wi‑Fi. The on‑site staff was unapproachable and did almost nothing to help us settle in. We didn’t even stay for the night. This property is listed on Stayfolio as one of their luxury portfolio homes, but it is nowhere near that standard.
