“Прекрасна квартира у Венеції (Местре)”
The apartment was charming, impeccably clean, and it was very convenient to get to the island of Venice. The area was green and quiet. The host kept the place immaculate, was pleasant and welcoming. I hadn’t realized it was a shared bathroom when I booked, but after meeting her we were fine with the arrangement; she even asked if it was okay for us to stay together, and we said yes.
Elif, the host, was incredibly kind and responded quickly to messages. The check‑in instructions were clear. We were unsure how to open the door at 23:00, but Elif still came personally to help even though she didn’t live there. The room was amazing; we were just two people but had an entire flat, everything clean and tidy. The flat isn’t exactly in the city centre, but there’s a bus stop right at the door that takes you to Mestre train station in 11 minutes. Highly recommend.

The place was very clean. I would have preferred a single mattress instead of two mattresses together, but I understand couples might prefer that and we had no issues.

The room was well maintained, and the kitchen was in good condition. Living with the host in the apartment didn’t bother me; she was friendly, often checking if we needed anything, very quiet, and we never had noise issues. We could chat with her easily. Public transport (tram or bus) was close (the stop is usually less than 10 minutes walking) and takes you straight to Venice, and it was cheap. The bathroom was shared and tidy, but the only downside was not knowing when she might need it, although that didn’t happen during our stay, though it could.
The host was kind and gave me all the information I needed for a wonderful day in Venice. Nothing else to note; the host was fantastic.
