“Need to improve the infrastructure. If I would know there is no Internet I would never book this room”
The hotel staff behaved well. The rooms are not worth it; there’s no internet, and none of the menu food is available.

The compound is nice and offers good value. It was fairly quiet at night. Breakfast plates were included, there’s a bar, and mosquito nets are provided. The pool water was not clean during my stay.

The location is good. I stayed there for three days. On the first day I used my credit card; on the second I paid with cash because I had some on hand; on the third day I didn’t have enough cash. The owner was unhappy about this and charged me a 10‑unit service fee. The daily rates varied, and I didn’t appreciate these petty tactics.

It was my second stay and again the staff were nice, the location was superb, the room was clean, and the vibe was good. I had the same room and everything that wasn’t working before was fixed, so it seemed like small complaints were taken seriously. The water pressure was incredibly low, and it took ages to get warm water, which is typical for many places in Zambia. Coffee could be served with milk and similar small details.

I chose this hostel because it was only a 25‑minute walk from the bus station coming from Livingstone, easy to spot and set in a quiet compound close to a large modern mall. However, the front desk was unimpressed when I presented a printed copy of my booking and had to show electronic proof; it took them a while to accept it as real. The room itself was tidy but very minimal. Breakfast was just okay, and I only learned where to get it after asking another guest. The “self‑catering” kitchen looked unappealing, so I avoided it. Overall, this was the least satisfying of the eight stays I've had on this trip.
