The stay was very good at this hotel! The staff were welcoming, smiling and efficient. Some speak French and English, which is convenient. The room was spacious, comfortable and spotless. The breakfast was very varied and plentiful, there was something for every taste. The restaurant offers very good traditional cuisine with really generous portions! You don’t leave hungry! All of this for a very reasonable price considering the amenities. A place we recommend without hesitation.

I was drawn to the hotel’s traditional charm and family‑run vibe, and the rooms were large, pretty, and brand new. Even with the windows open at night it stayed very quiet. The breakfast selection left something to be desired – we wanted more variety in vegetables, sausages, and cheeses, but only hard‑boiled eggs were offered. The rolls were pre‑baked, decent quality, but not from a local baker as we’d hoped. The Hefezopf was dry, either thawed or not fresh. Lactose‑free dairy should be standard nowadays, yet it wasn’t always restocked, and the sausage or cheese were sometimes placed on the serving plate without any care from the packaging. Picking out individual slices with the provided fork was a struggle.

המלון היה מצוין ומעל לציפיות. ראשית, החדר היה מרווח מאוד וכלל למעשה שלושה חללים ועוד מטבחון קטן. היינו משפחה של שני הורים ושלושה ילדים, והיה מקום מרווח לכולם. רמת הניקיון הייתה גבוהה וכך גם הפרטיות. המיקום של המלון היה מצוין, רק כ-10 דקות נסיעה מפארק אירופה ומרולנטיקה ובמרחק נסיעה קצרה לקולמר וליתר היעדים ביער השחור. גולת הכותרת של המלון היא המסעדה המצוינת, שם גם אוכלים את ארוחות הבוקר (לא תכננו, אבל בסופו של דבר ב-4 מתוך 5 הערבים שהיינו במלון אכלנו במסעדה של המלון, כי זו פשוט הייתה האופציה הטובה ביותר באיזור). זה גם יוצר תחושה תמידית של חיים במקום. יש המון חניה באיזור ונחמד גם סתם להסתובב בעיירה קאפל בה נמצא המלון. הצוות היה נהדר ואדיב, והכל היה מושלם. יש לקחת בחשבון שהחדרים נמצאים בקומה שנייה, אז צריך לעלות במדרגות אליהם (אין הרבה)
