The staff were kind and welcoming, but there was no glass in the room and the TV didn’t work.

We made a quick stop for a business trip, ate generous portions of good food, and the staff’s hospitality was a highlight—kudos to everyone. I’d add a small fan to the rooms.

The room smelled like an ashtray, like an old smoking lounge; it was the worst night in ten years.

The family‑run property had genuinely kind and helpful owners, and the people were wonderful—few places match that. The restaurant was top quality. Unfortunately the building feels a bit dated, and the large room was dusty and not very clean in places (we found plenty of hair in the shower and the drain struggled). A pity, because the staff deserve a 10, but the property itself needs a bit of work.
