The property was in the perfect location, the room was spacious and had everything we needed. The host was very accommodating and made us feel extremely welcome.

The location was quiet and away from the main streets, and the new building was nice. The room got very hot, even with the window open and the fan running, and the kitchen could use more essentials like bowls and extra cutlery.

Right by the river, which was nice for a walk. The room was clean and the toilet roll/soap bar were provided. A small kitchen area was handy for making hot drinks, and the shower had hot water, which is always a bonus. The staff were so lovely; he even helped me send a parcel, bought sticky tape from town, and arranged a tuk‑tuk for me when I couldn’t find transport. Thank you so much! The only wish is that it were a little closer to the bridges that cut into Weligama; it’s hard to find pick‑me‑tuk‑tuks from here and the ones on the road cost a lot. The walk is doable but it’s around 30 minutes and can get very sweaty during the day. If you have a motorbike or are looking for a quiet spot, this is definitely your place. :)

I had an incredibly pleasant stay at Riverly, and I must thank the owners—truly kind, attentive, and responsive people who genuinely care about their guests. They were always in touch, explained everything in detail, warned us, and supported us, showing that guest comfort and peace of mind matter to them. The rooms were clean, tidy, and well-maintained, reflecting careful order. It was a pleasure to relax in the room, especially with the beautiful view of the green garden, which offered a very quiet and cozy atmosphere. This place feels like true hospitality, and I confidently recommend Riverly to anyone looking for a comfortable, clean, and tranquil lodging.
