“Absolutely fabulous”
I was thrilled with my time at Hotel Berliotz; arriving around 10 am, the staff were incredibly accommodating to my needs and requests. I could drop my luggage and wander the neighbourhood before checking in, which was convenient. The check‑in was fast and hassle‑free, letting me slip into my room and catch a quick nap. That bed and those pillows were so comfy I almost struggled to get up. The room was spotless, showing a lot of care in welcoming guests. Curtains blocked outside light well, and the bedroom lighting at night was cozy and set a nice ambience. The location is great, with the train station and bus services just a 5‑minute walk away. From the airport, take bus line 11—remember to bring coins (only 3 €) or buy the ticket online via the QR codes on display—it’s a 10‑minute ride that drops you at St. Louis train station. Bus 604 also takes you to Basel, or you can catch the SNCF train to Basel SBB (central station) in 10 minutes. I didn’t encounter any issues; everything was very pleasant.
