A historic villa, renovated with respect, retaining an old‑world charm that fits well in Poppi. Right under Poppi Castle, convenient on foot to local trattorias and a walk (with a descent/ascend that can be tough for some) to shops and trattorias in Ponte a Poppi. Simple but comfortable furnishings. Breakfast buffet, sweet and savory, artisanal cakes. From our room, a breathtaking view. Absolute kindness in the welcome, even towards our little dog. Nothing negative.

I stayed for one night while touring on a motorcycle; the location in Poppi’s historic old town was truly wonderful, and there are parking spots right outside the hotel. My room was clean and functional, the staff super friendly and helpful, and breakfast offered something fine for every taste.
