I liked the location near the bus stop to the city and grocery shops, the neighbors were nice and it felt safe, and the security system was good; the house was comfortable with a spacious dining room and kitchen that was well equipped and always clean, the landlord was helpful, and when the toilet got blocked she acted immediately and fixed it quickly; the room, especially, was very comfortable, and I can’t think of anything negative.

I was impressed by how quickly the check‑in went and how thorough the information was; everything I’d need for a home‑away‑from‑home stay was provided. However, when I tried to open my bedroom door, the bed was blocking it, forcing me to crawl over it just to get in and out.

My son only stayed for a couple of minutes, yet the host sent a large, aggressive man who couldn’t speak English to escort us, and then kicked us out. At over 60 years old, I’ve never experienced such dreadful customer service; I managed to tape the whole ordeal. The owners’ aggression was the main issue.

The place was clean and functional, a small accommodation with a quiet location. Shared toilet/shower and common areas were tidy. The walk to Liverpool city was short—just 7‑9 minutes to the bus stop, from which a quick hop gets you into town.

Around 1300 the staff texted me, accusing me of early entry and threatening a fine, even though I was merely catching a train in London. Their tone was hostile and unhelpful.
