I stayed at a very nice place that kept the ancient style of the house, and it felt cozy and peaceful, making me feel very good. It’s located in the ancient village, and they even helped with my baggage because the bus can’t reach the hotel due to its position in the ancient village area.

The guesthouse was beautifully authentic and peaceful, with a glorious garden and very nice staff who even arranged transportation from the airport for us; I couldn’t have gotten there otherwise. The price is on the pricier side compared to other guesthouses I booked, but the location is great if you want to be right away from the buzz of the city – it’s quite separate from it all.

The establishment sits in a very quiet little alley in Lijang, creating a small haven of peace. The owner speaks perfect English, and the highlight is the tiny terrace from which we have an incredible view above the city’s rooftops. Everything was very good.
