Fantastic location in a beautiful, safe neighbourhood close to trains and buses; the continental breakfast was good and the hotel was very clean. The downside is the third floor has steep stairs that creak loudly with every step, and the mattress is too soft.

This old property is charming, full of character and history, and the room and bathroom were spotless. Its location was ideal—just a short walk to restaurants, shops, and tram stops. However, the floor boards were noisy, the stairs were steep, and the old bed and mattress didn’t provide good support.

I loved the cozy décor and the communal breakfast, which offered many options and felt like great value. The shower was excellent and everything was very clean. Our room was right next to the kitchen, so we could hear breakfast being prepared, but the small fan in the room muffled the noise. I only have two minor suggestions: let guests choose not to have towels changed daily, and add a sign explaining what gets recycled and what goes into the trash at breakfast to help us sort waste.

They took my money and then gave no arrival instructions. I walked into an empty house with only a lock on my door and had to find another hotel. Perhaps some actual service would help.
