Pure bliss for everyone: the location is gorgeous with a great walk to do. The Kasbah is beautiful. The staff are super friendly. You can have dinner on request (paid). Breakfast is great. We had a wonderful stay. We will come back. We fell in love with the place. Everything was perfect. It went far beyond our expectations.
“Kasbah de rêve pour ceux qui aiment l’authenticité”
The kasbah was beautiful and full of character—truly the most stunning spot in Morocco. The owner was adorable and helpful. However, it was far too cold, especially in winter. The room had heating, but the hall and bathroom were chilly. We ate with our coats on and couldn’t shower because it was so cold. One room had heaters, but the other three had nothing.
“I liked it, my friends bot as much”
The location was exactly what we wanted. It’s a charming place, and someone did a lovely job renovating this Kasba. It had an abandoned vibe, which I liked but my friends didn’t. The cook came each night and made us dinner, which was very good, and he was very nice. There was a problem with the shower water, and the soaps didn’t work. We met a couple who had visited when it first opened and said it had really fallen apart. It seems the owners have moved on to something else.
I got one helpful staff member, but the place was freezing with no heating. A gas heater looked dangerous and was only brought out after we complained. The front door stayed open and none of our doors closed. When I raised the issue, the response was “it’s just me!” The next morning there was no water at all. The whole building was dark and damp, making it impossible to see anything. We left after one night, hoping it would be better in summer.
The welcome was excellent, the place had a lot of charm, and it was perfect if you’re looking for peace and quiet.
