The family‑run hotel features a Feng Shui‑styled restaurant serving regional dishes, fine wines, and generous breakfast buffets. Nearby attractions include Pfalzgrafenstein Castle and the Rheinsteig hiking trail.

I was greeted with a warm welcome; the owners are incredibly friendly and the staff are very helpful. Reaching the hotel from the Rhine is quick by car or e‑bike without effort 😀. The large room is very nice, well equipped, and the bed is comfortable. The breakfast buffet leaves no wishes unfulfilled.

It was a great stay and I was warmly received. The breakfast was very good and the rooms were tidy with good facilities. The hotel’s location is also very nice for visiting other cities.

The breakfast was lovingly presented. However, we weren’t allowed to choose our table in the dining room; the room came with a table in an inconvenient location that we had to keep for the whole stay—unreasonable. Special requests at breakfast were handled without any friendliness.

We stayed two nights here. We were given a newly renovated room that was very good. The hotel sits high on a plateau above the Rhine, with a tranquil setting and nice views. Free parking next to the hotel is handy, but there’s no electric car charging. The host couple is very pleasant and makes you feel very welcome. A nice breakfast is served. Don’t miss booking dinner one evening. Markus cooks very good food, “fine dining” at a high level. We could choose a 3‑ to 5‑course menu. Really tasty and worth the price.
