Stone House Gregov - Bedroom 1

Fantastic location – the house sits on the seashore and has its own concrete beach. Some rooms have a grape arbor (verandah). The owners are really nice. Our room was very different from the description; most importantly it lacked air conditioning even though the apartment’s website listed it. The bathroom was tiny, as promised, but you could only reach it through a corridor shared with other guests and the host. Other advertised features were missing. We decided to leave and had a lot of trouble getting compensation from customer service, which we felt was not as professional or dedicated as it should be.

“We had a magical time in Lombarda thanks to wonderful Ivan and his family”

We loved staying with Ivan and his wonderful family. They were so kind and accommodating to all our needs, making us feel like family. At the bottom of the property is a private platform to the sea with lounge chairs and a paddle board. The property is very central to many restaurants and bus stops around the island. Every morning he brought fresh herbs from his garden for herbal tea, and every afternoon he brought us delicious homemade wine, snaps, and food. The room was very spacious and we enjoyed sitting on the adjacent patio watching the sunrise. He would take us on his boat to other islands or other parts of Korčula. The only downside was that the bathroom was small and the fridge was outside the room.
