The location was easy to reach, situated on a main road with little traffic, and parking right next to the house worked well; the village centre was also within easy reach. However, on the website we read about two Danish women supposedly running the accommodation, yet upon arrival we were told no one would be there, the keys were simply left in envelopes ready for anyone, and the house was open all day— we never met the host ladies. Later we discovered it was part of a small chain that also owns hotels elsewhere. Breakfast was prepared by two girls from another country, and after eating, cold cuts and cheese were left out for a while before being refrigerated.

The price was good and the bed was very comfortable, but the bathroom was too small, the noise was terrible, and everything felt very old.

It’s advertised as a family pension, but it really isn’t; it’s run by two employees who do a decent job.

We only stayed one night, but I’d love to stay longer. The city is beautiful. The hosts were friendly! We arrived very late but checked in without any issues. The house is authentic, with original furniture. The view from the window is amazing! The full breakfast is a real treat! The mattresses on the beds are comfortable. The only downside is mosquitoes—bring a fumigator.
