B&B La Bella Giuliana

“Excellent location, service, and price point.”

There was plenty on offer for breakfast. The location was perfect. Close enough to get anywhere you wanted, but outside the crowds and bustle of the tourist zone. The owner, Marina, was pleasant, responsive, and very helpful. The rooms were large and comfortable. I have no particular complaints. I would be happy to stay there again and would happily recommend it to friends

“Dirty toilet water on the bathroom floor every night, no refund, accusations, and even a legal threat for raising the is”

I had an extremely disappointing and unpleasant experience. During all three nights of my stay, dirty water from the toilet repeatedly appeared on the bathroom floor. I reported it, yet the problem was never resolved, and dirty water kept reappearing every night. The owner’s response made the situation even worse and, frankly, frightening. At the end of the stay she suggested that I may have caused the water myself, which I found insulting and completely unacceptable. After my stay, the owner claimed that a plumber had inspected the property and found no leak, and used this to deny responsibility and refuse my refund. Yet dirty toilet water repeatedly appeared on the floor during my stay. This raises serious questions about the accuracy of her account: either the problem remains unresolved, or the explanation given is misleading. In either case, I was unfairly made responsible for a problem I reported. What I found particularly shocking—and what, in my opinion, says a lot about how this situation was handled—was that after refusing my refund, the owner went as far as threatening me with legal action simply for filing a complaint with and using the platform’s normal complaint procedure. I found this threatening completely unacceptable. I have photos and videos documenting the issue. In 15 years of using the platform, I have never experienced anything like this. What is also extremely disappointing is the lack of customer protection I experienced. When a dispute arises, the outcome ultimately depends on the property accepting responsibility and agreeing to a refund. Unlike platforms where documented evidence such as photos and videos can support a customer refund process, I felt that I was left with little protection and ultimately had to pay for a stay that involved a serious hygiene problem.

We had a wonderful stay and really enjoyed everything! The location is excellent, and the place is spotlessly clean. Our room was cleaned every day, and everything was perfect — fresh white sheets and towels, a very comfortable mattress, and orthopedic pillows. We especially appreciated the little touches that made our stay so comfortable. It was great to be able to make tea or coffee whenever we wanted, either in our room or in the cozy living room nearby. There were also complimentary light snacks available at any time, such as cookies, croissants, and yogurt — all included in the room price. We stayed with my husband and our 12-year-old daughter, and we were all very happy with our stay. We felt very welcome and comfortable throughout our visit. A big thank you to our lovely and welcoming host! We would be very happy to stay here again! ❤️

“If you are staying in the Prati area, this is a lovely B & B.”

A very comfortable stay. Marina was very nice and extremely helpful. She added a personal touch that I very much appreciated. There is a dedicated breakfast area for a quick coffee, light breakfast. The building has security during the day and the elevator is a godsend since it’s on the 4th floor and especially useful when transporting your bags up and down

“Massima perfezione”

Everything, including the breakfast options that you need, was provided. They also let you tell them ahead of time what you want. Nothing negative.
