The staff were really lovely, the breakfast was beautiful, and the place was down to earth; we booked last minute after our original accommodation fell through, and the cleaning staff were very accommodating and lovely. However, there was very little natural light in the rooms and poor ventilation, so the bathroom was quite mouldy, which isn’t good if you have upper respiratory issues.

The riad sits a five‑minute walk from both the Palais de la Bahia and Jemaa el‑Fnaa yet remains perfectly quiet; its décor is exactly what you picture when you think of Morocco, with two floors and a patio offering several peaceful nooks that feel like home. The team were exceptionally kind, attentive and unobtrusive, and breakfast was generous and excellent—I loved it and will definitely return. The only downside was the mattress, which felt a bit too firm for me, though we’ve endured worse, so it didn’t spoil the stay at all.

The riad is on a quiet street, close to the main square and easy to walk around the Medina. Breakfast was nice and fresh, but the real highlight was the staff—Sana was always available and sweet, Abe was kind, helpful, and trustworthy, and his knowledge of healing oils, herbs, and local customs was impressive. Highly recommend this place; I’ll definitely come back! Thank you!
