The reception staff didn't speak German and didn't explain how to re‑enter the hotel when the desk was unoccupied.
The location, breakfast, and staff were great. The mini‑fridge was broken and there was trash under the bed.

The bed was comfortable, but the hot breakfast buffet at 9:45 am was already cold; we asked for a ham omelette and were refused even though kitchen staff were present. We were directed to the buffet, where scrambled eggs were not hot, a pre‑made fried egg was cold, and the bacon and sausage were all cold, making it impossible to eat. The pastries weren't restocked until 10 am.
