I’ve stayed there twice and choosing this place in Jiangning was definitely right; the restaurant’s food is delicious! Everything else was also fine.

“Clean spacious rooms but falls a bit short on having instructions in English for the room service options”

The place was spotless and the rooms were spacious, plus the street vendors outside offered tasty food if room service fell short. However, there was no English room‑service menu or Chinese app to order from the room, and we couldn’t find one. When we asked at check‑in about ordering from outside and having it delivered, they said “of course not.” Later we tried to locate the menu but got no luck. Going back to reception, a staff member directed us to the 4th floor, which turned out to be a convention hall hosting an event. Unsure whether they misunderstood my request or I was looking for the menu there, I gave up and ended up buying food from the street vendors instead.

We booked this hotel because we were flying overnight and needed a place to sleep after a 16‑hour flight. After many calls, the airport transfer from the hotel arrived more than an hour late, and it was nighttime! When we asked the staff what happened, they just said it “happened” without any explanation.
