The place was spotless, like it had just been renovated yesterday. The host was incredibly friendly and even helped us with the ski lift. We spent three wonderful days on the Mechi Chal slope and evenings at the Konaka tavern in Chepelare.

The night before our arrival the owner called repeatedly, demanding we cancel and changing the excuse each time—first a booking glitch, then no heating, then that her father had died. We offered our condolences but refused to cancel because there was no free‑cancellation option, and she unilaterally altered our dates, forcing the platform to intervene. It threw our itinerary off at the last minute and left a pretty unpleasant impression.

The view from the property is stunning, everything is kept very clean, and the hosts are genuinely nice. The only drawback is that there’s nothing to eat within walking distance, so you have to drive for a meal. Overall, a pleasant stay if you don’t mind the lack of nearby food.

We were greeted warmly and the facilities are top‑notch, housed in a brand‑new building. Everything felt modern and comfortable.

The hosts are extremely polite and welcoming, and the apartment is spotless with solid household amenities. We felt right at home.
