The price is reasonable and the location is convenient—close to both the bus and train stations and the city centre, near a Lidl. The shared kitchen is always available for a warm drink, with a microwave and fridge; it’s a nice spot to spend a few hours. There’s also luggage storage. Overall, a good place for a few days. Rooms on the street side are noisy; courtyard side is fine. Neighbours can be heard—this didn’t bother us, but if you’re sensitive and need full isolation, choose a hotel.

The B&B sits about 10 minutes from Catania station and roughly 15‑20 minutes from the city centre. Tania sends all the necessary check‑in details via WhatsApp. The room and bathroom are kept in excellent condition. Every morning Tania prepares breakfast available from 8 h to 9:30 h; each room has a table with the room number and a fresh pastry; drinks are provided. I was a bit taken aback by the tourist tax of 3,50 € per person per night, while it’s only 2 € in Siracusa and 1 € in Messina.

The room has an ensuite bathroom. The airport bus stop is right at the property, which is very convenient. The furniture is decent, not old. There’s a café below with a lot of pastries that taste great, but the café coffee is average. There’s a lot of noise—car honks, music, everything. The windows are poorly insulated. Other guests talk loudly and laugh, lacking manners. It’s in a quiet area away from the centre, with odd streets. The mattress is soft. Breakfast was ordinary; it lacked savoury items like ham, cheese, eggs.
