In the town, Kirchweih was happening and the inn was bursting with guests. We could only marvel at how the ladies of the house handled the rush while staying courteous and friendly. Inside the house, there was no breakfast, but that wasn’t a drawback since the town offers plenty of alternatives.

I stayed here while heading home and the spot was perfect – just a 2‑minute walk to a Greek restaurant and a bakery right around the corner. The room was tidy and it was great that the kids had a separate bedroom. The host was friendly.

The apartment sits right next to the highway, making it ideal for a layover and a family stay. It even has a small kitchenette. I grabbed breakfast from the bakery across the street and dinner from the Greek place. The key hand‑over was a bit confusing at first but it worked out. The unit was quite warm; a fan would have helped in summer.
