“It was ok for a long weekend but didn't fully meet our expectations.”
The central Dillenburg location is nice, and the hotel’s old building looks good from the outside. The staff were friendly, though they didn’t always fully grasp our requests. The rooms were decent in size, and the shower was warm and strong. Yet the rooms felt a bit worn: broken tiles, damaged corners, a loose tap on one sink, and a lack of cleanliness with dust in corners and hair in the sink, suggesting the cleaning was rushed. Breakfast was simple—good, tasty bread but only buns, no sliced bread, and on the first day there was no yoghurt or similar. The coffee was excellent, and we could order eggs cooked to our preference (fried, omelet, etc.) freshly each morning. Overall, we expected more, especially given the price we paid.
