Located in Puerto Aventuras, the Dreams Aventuras Riviera Maya offers a private beach area and beachfront access, along with a year-round outdoor swimming pool and sun terrace. The resort features spa facilities, a fitness centre, and hot tub, as well as yoga and fitness classes. It's 38 km from Cozumel International Airport and near Bahia Xcacel Beach, Playa del Carmen Maritime Terminal, and Tulum Archeological Site.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the food was good. The facilities were awful and the hotel is very old. The first room we got was really bad and uncomfortable; the AC made an awful noise. The shower didn’t work and some drawers couldn’t even be opened. The second room was better but still not great. The bathroom door squeaked every time we opened it. We reported this and the facilities staff tried to fix it but they couldn’t. The beach from the hotel can’t even be called a beach – it’s more of a dirty pond, and because of the seaweed (which has nothing to do with the hotel) it smelled really bad. This hotel is not worth the price because even though it is a little cheaper than other hotels from the same chain, also located in the Riviera Maya, it is by far the worst one, and the price difference is not that much. This was a very disappointing experience, and I even decided to leave one night early.

Every single staff member was friendly and helpful. Julian and Nadia (I can't remember her name but she was the hostess at Oceana) were very attentive. The service at the pool outside Oceana was also excellent. We didn't have a single difficult experience with the staff. The rooms are spacious and the beds comfortable. The only feedback I would give is the shower head didn't work so we could only shower with the wand, which was okay but a little clumsy

While I was thoroughly enjoying my stay, with everything about the place being amazing, I had a couple of frustrating experiences. I had to call multiple times for my room to be cleaned and to get room service plates removed, which was not ideal.
