I head here once a year for concerts on the street and love the parking and clean rooms. The building is older, so the doors to the rooms I stayed in were hard to open and close, the showers weren’t as clean or hot as they could be, and the heater only warmed up when I cranked it up; a few small updates would make a big difference, but overall I still love this hotel.

The room is a good size, modernized on an old structure, with plenty of space around the bed and everything needed for a business trip. It’s close to downtown and the central station on a main bus line, especially handy if you’re commuting to the waterfront.

For the low price we expected little, but this place was very nice, super clean, had a very friendly late‑night manager, and overall was an excellent stay.

Breakfast wasn’t offered, but markets, restaurants and other spots were fine, and transport access was okay too. Other hotels and motels were far away and hard to reach. The laundromat was disappointing: it wasn’t clean or well‑maintained, only had one washer and dryer, and a place with many guests should have more machines. Window sills were dirty and could have been better kept.
