“Blij dat we weer weg konden.”

We only had to stay one night. Parking instructions were missing, so we had to drive around the block and park in a public garage, then walk a long way with our luggage. Everything was dated and stale. The room was hot. The armrest on the desk chair was loose, the wardrobe door wouldn’t close (my husband fixed it), scrambled eggs didn’t look fresh and didn’t smell fresh, and so on.

The location is great, right in the centre and very close to the main station. The room was quiet, so I could open the windows without worrying about noise at night. There was enough space for suitcases, bags, clothes and other things, and several power outlets were conveniently placed. A small fridge was also in the room. The furniture and bathroom fixtures were a bit worn, but that didn’t bother me; the important thing was comfort. The only annoyance was that the beds creaked whenever I moved.

The hotel’s proximity to the train station was essential for us, and it’s also near the city centre. However, it seems to have been better years ago; the décor is outdated and in need of renovation. The receptionist was unfriendly and seemed unmotivated.

The location is probably the only good thing. The room was old, worn and dirty – the floor was covered in grime everywhere. The staircase looked like that of an old school building. We left immediately. I’ve never seen such a bad hotel before. Worth no more than one star.

“Nie wieder”

The room was unbelievably filthy, the bathroom was old and disgusting, and the mattress caused back pain. The breakfast didn’t justify the price; it was just discount store fare, the coffee was terrible and unhygienic. There were no free parking spots, so we had to go to a paid parking lot ten minutes away.
