In May the lounge had better snack options; I had to ask for drinks that were out of stock, and the soup was also very limited.

The location is great, but the breakfast feels geared mainly toward athletes with a limited selection; otherwise the buffet is average. I mistakenly identified myself as severely disabled while sitting partly in a wheelchair, yet I also noted that I can move around the room independently, so I wasn’t requesting a room for the severely disabled. I only asked that the room door be wheelchair‑friendly. Room 330 is actually designed for severely disabled guests, requiring me to bend deeply at every knob, and a wheelchair can’t usually reach the bathroom. This setup is meant for severely disabled people who need assistance from companions in the bath. Additionally, the room lacked both a sofa and a wardrobe, likely due to a misunderstanding in prior conversation. The front desk couldn’t accommodate a room change because the hotel was almost fully booked.

I was genuinely surprised in a good way. I’m not a football fan—this was a gift for my partner—but I still had a blast. Everything was beautifully decorated, the staff were friendly, the Fohlenausstellung was great, the shop was closed because of the holiday, and the lounge access was simply fantastic. We really enjoyed it, and especially my birthday gift turned out to be a perfect hit.
