“Poor, to be avoided if you want a quiet safe stay with a cuppa.”

The shower was the only good thing. The location was a bit rough and noisy; the owner admitted the walls were paper thin. The owner told me to go to the room with the key in the door on arrival, which I did, only to be turfed out at 10 pm and given a smaller room. There was no tea cup in the small room to make a cuppa. Overall poor. Parking permits before five, not ideal. Where you could park was a car up on bricks with no wheels, didn't fill me with confidence about leaving my vehicle there which contained tools. The guy who was working at the BnB seemed friendly.

“Okay(ish) but not at all suitable for a single woman.”

The price was good and the caretaker was helpful, giving me a choice of rooms (both had rugs needing a shake or vacuum) and helped with my bags that needed taking upstairs (again I wasn’t aware of the stairs). Some of this I should have probably asked about. Certainly the area, it would have been helpful to know that the building was opposite the car park next to the police station and opposite the building rather than using the postcode which then takes you past smelly bins and foxes rather than straight across the green and car park (fees applied). As a solo woman I felt this info was really important.

“Nice place , needs a bit of improvement”

The location was fine. The walls are thin so you can hear the people in the room with ease as well as the TVs. The fire doors slamming keep you up throughout the night.

The room was clean and modern. The en‑suite was a drawback.

The room was bright, the décor very pleasant, and there was a kettle, tea, and coffee available. It was hard to find, with no signage indicating the accommodation. There was no blackout on the windows, and the carpet in the room was very dirty.
