The view of the lagoon is unbeatable, and the rooms get plenty of natural light – they’re pretty comfortable. The only downside was that the boat we wanted to use was a bit far from the cabin; not everyone might notice that. Overall, a nice spot if you’re after scenery.

The hosts really made sure we felt at home, checking in on us regularly and offering help whenever we needed. Their attention to detail made the stay feel personal. No complaints here.

The grounds are lovely, with roses, lilies, and birds you can see from the cabin, and the hosts are friendly. But the bathroom was a nightmare – spider webs, dead bugs, a sewage‑mold stench that filled the whole cabin even with the window open. Wi‑Fi was spotty, linens were old, the blinds let in too much light, and you have to pay cash. The driveway is a steep, bumpy hill, so manual drivers might want to skip it.

It’s a quiet place to unwind, but the distance from downtown is a real drawback. Uber doesn’t work in the area, so getting around can be a hassle. If you’re okay with a bit of travel, it’s a decent spot.
